Upgrade: Your Everyday Belt

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010 // BY

There are arguably a few pieces in anyone’s wardrobe and accessory arsenal that get overlooked.  I’d say that that’s unavoidable and it often takes a lifetime to build a closet that has everything one might need.  I’m really a firm believer that there are a some items that shouldn’t be overlooked, especially if that piece is one that is worn often or daily.  Glasses, watch, wedding ring, wallet, belt. You wear the thing(s) all the time, and you have to look at them everyday, so they better be nice, and they better last.

If you follow us you’ll have seen that occasionally we sell small quantities of leather goods that we think are worth selling.  These belts are the latest offering.  Hand made in Maine and unlined with double prong buckles – these will take just about anything.  I had these made up again after wearing one daily for the better part of five years – a picture can be seen towards the end of this previous post.

From bottom to top - Scotch Grain Burgundy Illini Latigo, Burgundy Illini Latigo, Scotch Grain #93 Brown Wooly Chromexcel, and Brown Chromexcel

These belts are available for purchase for $100 each (includes shipping to anywhere in the US).  Available sizes can be found at the end of this post – please email me at nick(at)horween.com for purchasing details.
